Daniel is the Director of The Climate Map, a nonprofit working to catalyze the successful and safe development and deployment of greenhouse gas removal and storage (GGRS) techniques. He is also the co-founder of the Drylands Natural Resources Center, a Kenya-based nonprofit that implements integrated rural development programs in drylands.

An expert in carbon removal, clean energy, electrification, and land use, Daniel also advises companies, foundations, government agencies, investors, and nonprofits that are working to advance climate and conservation outcomes.

Daniel was previously a Case Team Leader at The Bridgespan Group and a Marketing Manager at Astrum Solar. He holds an MBA from Harvard Business School, where was a Social Enterprise Fellow and a Rock Entrepreneurship Fellow, and a BA from the University of Virginia, where he graduated Phi Beta Kappa.
