Updates from The Data Economics Company

We’re excited to share the latest updates from the team at DECO and our key partners.

The Next Bricks in Our Foundation

Arka Ray and Jennifer Hinkel, DECO Managing Directors, started developing the science and technology behind the LydionⓇ Engine more than four years ago. DECO is now proud to share with you that one of the key patents describing Workchains and Transactional Proof of Work authored by Arka and Jennifer has received a notice of allowance from the US Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) and will be issued in coming weeks.

This allowance paves the way for additional IP filings related to the science and technology of data economics that are integral to the growth of the LydionⓇ Engine and DECO’s technology products overall.

Building New Sectors

DECO also announced exciting partnerships to drive growth in two key sectors.

GAMING

DECO announced a partnership with Three Donkeys LLC, a game studio led by highly celebrated game designers, Richard Garfield and Skaff Elias. Some of you may have heard of their flagship creation, Magic: The Gathering.

This partnership opens up new ways of utilizing and distributing the LydionⓇ Engine in one of the largest entertainment spaces in the world: video games. According to Statista, the video game market is forecasted to be globally valued at approximately $268 billion by 2025.

DECO and Three Donkeys are already hitting the ground running, building mysterious new video game experiences that will realize the possibilities of the LydionⓇ Engine in ways that haven’t yet been explored.

CLIMATE

Gordian Knot Strategies has been leading the way for climate solutions with government agencies, NGOs and multinational corporations. We are proud to announce that DECO and Gordian Knot Strategies are partnering to build a DeFi platform that accelerates climate sustainability finance and investment management

A global sustainability priority of the United Nations, this partnership enables us to demonstrate how the Lydion Engine will effectively support advancements in reducing - and, optimistically - eradicating climate change.

The Introduction to Data Economics Textbook

We continue to receive positive feedback from the scientific and academic community on the Introduction to Data Economics chapters published in The Lydion Magazine. These chapters introduce readers to data economics and pull them into the science and math behind the Lydion EngineⓇ.
